Recruiters and organisational culture

Hi Folks,

Understanding the organisational culture is important for recruiters or RPO vendors.

The recruiter works start with Job description. A Recruiter understands the job description and sometime explores more information by interacting or websites of client to better understand the requirement.

Presently, Do recruiters have an idea of organisational culture of its client? …..

The clients or companies are not only interested in quality of manpower but a “best fit” for company. Do u know about culture…

If yes.. Do it help in recruiting …

If no…How recruiter can know about the client culture…. One way is experience lens of recruiters, Internet…and

It is my personal experience that whenever I got any requirement from XYZ company for ABC technology, I call up HR department to know more about the requirement…. and some time search the profile (XYZ company) for same position to get more information on current projects, culture and technologies.

Further, I also make use of profile by focusing on last company or company before XYZ to determine the suitability or best fit between the companies and later into candidates.

Do you required to understand the culture…or not required ?????????

Cheers
